Taking to his Twitter page in the early hours of Wednesday morning to make the sensational revelation which has since triggered fans’ reactions, the Tesla boss wrote: “Also, I’m buying Manchester United ur welcome”. Musk’s tweet follows a shambolic Premier League performance by Manchester United against Brentford on Saturday. The Red Devils conceded four goals in the opening 35 minutes in a 4-0 drubbing as their woeful start to the Premier League season continued.
